Generation Y as termed is today's job performing / seeking generation. Is there a major difference in the socio - economic expectations of Generation Y from Generation X? We guess yes! The conditions in which the born after 90's children in India grew up were economically and socially better than their predecessors. Hence this generation has a lot more economic expectations from the environment than the former. However, one key aspect that more misses in this generation is the sense of responsibility. These people are socially more strong, economically more expecting; however responsibility wise less deserving. Very few among these lads would be willing enough to start at the beginning step. However, they disregard the learning that comes from beginning the race at start line.

When we compare the value addition capabilities of these people, they rank below average, however the expectations are skyrocketing. It's good to have high expectations; however a strong will to back those expectations with technical abilities is necessary to succeed. The biggest lack that we find in these people is the zeal to read. Internet today has equipped all to have access to so many sources that were practically tough for previous generations to acquire. Internet is a huge source of information that allows you to learn and imbibe qualities that will help you in succeeding in professional careers.
